Critters v1.1 FS22

Critters v1.1 FS22

What’s missing in the basic environment? Cicadas! Lightning bugs! Red-winged blackbirds! Owls! Frogs! More! This will simply add the sounds and sights of those important little creatures, providing you with a more natural, relaxing experience.
V1.1.0.0 changes:
Added dogs and a train (OK, so it’s not a critter.)

Otrherwise ok, but there is this way too loud and too long cicade loop. It is absolutely annoyingly loud. I’d love to have this, but without that one loop.

  2. Gears says:

The cicadas are a tiny bit loud, but the length is accurate, if not shorter than real life. I think the length is fine, but I think 20-30% less volume would make it better. Those things are obnoxious IRL. And if you want to go for ultra realism, play the cicada sound to make it sound like an army of them shouting at each other, not just a single bug. Also, the lightning bugs are great up close, but are like the size of a Rubik’s cube from a distance (WAY too large). Is there any way to modify the size or shape (not an obvious square)? If not maybe add a toggle or setting to turn the lightning bugs off completely. I love this mod, but the lightning bugs kill the immersion completely for me. So I personally won’t use it until the lightning bugs are removed/toggled/ edited to not be giant squares. Based on the other comments, it seems like a toggle or modifiable script for each sound would be beneficial. Just constructive criticism, overall great mod.
