Farming Simulator 22 – Top 10 Semi Trailer Mods
On Farming Simulator 22, semi-trailers are perhaps one of the most essential things there are! They are used for moving the crops around from the fields to your farm and storage. You can use them to move supplies, and animals – in other words, keep your farm going strong.
And there right here and the best FS22 semi-trailer mods out there:

Let’s take a look at them in detail.
1. Reisch Agrimaxx 1060 w/ RSDY-14 Dolly
VertexDezign has created the Reisch Agrimaxx 1060 semi-trailer, which is perhaps the most important (and the best) semi-trailer packs in the entire FS22 game. The pack includes a trailer and the RSDY-14 dolly, which, for example, is perfect to use with tractors.
The impressive max capacity of 57,200 liters can be filled by virtually all types of goods and materials available in the game. Max available weight is 31.9 tons.
There are also a lot of exciting options for customizing this trailer. That includes color options for both the body and the cover, as well as wheels from Vredestein and BKT.
Also, the lift axle is fully working – shame there’s still no steering axle.
2. Doepker Legacy Super B
Want to move a large amount of crops? Want to do it super fast? Great – the Doepker Legacy Super B trailers. They are able to move a solid 75,000 liters of material in one go, very close to the stock FS22 game’s Lode Kings, which clocks in at 81,200 liters.
FS ScreenShots, the creator, has made these models entirely from scratch. So, there are a few errors, such as the log showing missing textures, it’s an excellent overall build that works flawlessly.
The trailers can be separated and use one their own. Hoses and cables connect both the trailers, and the truck that pulls them.
You can customize this trailer by choosing either colored or chromed fenders, aluminum or steel wheels, and several color options for most trailer parts. And the lights that come included are excellent on their own, looking incredible at night time.
3. Krampe KS 950
You might remember the Krampe KS 950 semi-trailer from FS19, the previous version of the game. It’s not available on FS22, instead, Giants went with a bigger version of it, the SKS 30/1050.
But if you want to have this specific model in the newest game, Bubber Drumm has done an incredible conversion you can use. At the capacity of 48,000 liters, it’s over 10,000 liters less than the 1050, but smaller size has better handling, especially where sharper turns are a concern. Also, the rear steering axle makes this trailer even more flexible – yet another reason to pick this over the bigger 1050.
As far as customization is concerned, there are customization options for license plates and wheels.
4. Bergmann HTW 85
This Bergmann HTW-85 is a semi-trailer that has no equivalent in real life – it’s a Farming Simulator exclusive. While some real-life Bergmann models look fairly similar, it’s mostly just third-party customization.
The FS22 version of this trailer has an impressive capacity of 84,500 liters, and those liters can be filled up with virtually anything, as long as it’s not over the max weight of 73.2 tons. Thanks to the moving floor construction, it’s an excellent pick for forage harvesting, where the headroom is low.
For trailer customization, there are options for adding a cover, as well as changing capacity, wheels, and colors.
5. Artex TR3606-8
If you’re looking to go full North American-style, and do silage the American Way, Artex TR3606-8 is the trailer for you. As a live bottom trailer, it’s fully equipped for truck pulling. A live bottom also means there are apron conveyor chains for actually dragging the load from the trailer. When there are no headroom issues, this trailer does its job very well – with a starting capacity of 57,000 liters, and max weight of 21.4 tons.
This mod by Skywalker Farms is an updated version. There are some major differences compared to the FS19 version. Here are some of them:
- There’s a cable for electrics, as well as attachable hydraulic and air hoses.
- The sound has been updated (read: seriously improved)
- You can add license plates to the rear
It’s also worth noting that on FS22, this trailer it’s classed as a silage trailer, meaning it can carry grass, woodchips, chaff, and straw. But it won’t be able to transport grains.
The customization options of this trailer in the shop include color options for frame and box, and additional extension of 8,000 liters.
6. Great Dane Freedom LT
This Great Dane Freedom LT semi-trailer is a flatbed that’s ideal for transporting pallets and bales in FS22. With a ramp, it can also be used to move equipment and vehicles.
With tension belts available, if you can strap it down, you can move it. And do it in style, too, as there are color options for a flatbed, chassis, and even colors of the rims.

7. Maurer 28 Foot Grain Semi-Trailer
Some say that “size isn’t everything” is a lie. But in the case of this Maurer, it’s absolutely true. Let me explain.
Grain semi-trailers in FS22 are massive. Super massive. So massive, that maneuvering them around can be a serious challenge, not even worth your time. This 28-foot trailer can hold only 26,000 liters of grain, but it handles them like a dream.
Speaking of high-performance, this mod is an excellent example of how FS22 mods should be done. The sounds for even the most delicate operations are there, the hoses and cables work exactly like they should.
Sadly, there are no customization options. But if it’s perfect for you, what is there to improve, right?
8. Aulick Aluminator
This live floor semi-trailer by Aulick is an excellent choice for moving about your potatoes and sugarbeets in FS22. With a capacity of 50,000 liters, it’s a great mid-size option. While it can move just about everything, it’s the belt that makes it perfect for root vegetable transportation – and it’s an excellent authentic option when playing or North American maps.
This semi-trailer with a conveyor belt is a very solid conversion from an existing FS19 mod. It works perfectly, and looks great as well. There are just two things left to improve: make the sounds as good as many other FS22 trailers, and have a stroke of genius to find a way to animate the belt floor. Then, it’s as good as perfect.
The trailer doesn’t need to be tipped to unload. Instead, the load is transported out of the box with the help of the conveyor floor.
This semi is also a conversion of an FS19 mod. It both looks and works great. I’m especially happy with the hoses and cables that stretch between the semi and the trailer once it’s attached.
I also hope the modder still has some motivation to add more FS22 sounds. And it will be a fantastic day when someone figures out how to animate the belt floor.
9. Jet Grain Hopper Trailer
A good hopper trailer is a wonderful thing. On FS19, we had some great looking and great working options like Wilson and Lode King. On the FS22 game, we got even more – and perhaps the best option of them all is this Jet grain trailer right here, with a capacity of 58,750 liters.
As it’s almost obvious from the looks, it’s a classic North American grain hopper, and a brief test in the game fully confirms that. We also confirmed that it looks good, handles good, and has some excellent sounds. With the audio so improved in the newest game, it’s glad to see this trailer mod make full use of it. Cables between the trailer and the truck connect automatically, too – and that’s lovely.
There are still some bugs there or there, such as small crop chunks visible through the top tarp when the trailer is completely filled up, and hoppers have no unloading animations.
10. Tank Trailer Cisterne
This right here is a tank trailer that can transport various liquids, including water, milk, and diesel. With a max capacity of up to 30,000 liters, you won’t need to do many trips.
And while that’s not genuinely important, we just love how this tank looks, meshing ideally with pretty much every truck in the game. Rear marker lights look wonderful at night time.
The semi-trailer can also be customized in the shop, with options for rims, and various trailer parts, as well as license plates, and a warning sign – you’ll need the last one for moving fuel.
The developer console shows some warnings on this mod, with the trailers using an outdated configuration. But it works flawlessly – and in the end, that’s all that matters. If it’s not enough trailers please check our FS22 trailer mods category.
