Kinze 851 and 1051 grain carts both featured extensively in the base game of FS19. However, they were all missing from FS22, when it first launched.

That’s a shame! A shame so big, perhaps, that Giants quickly made up for their mistake, including them in the game’s modhub soon after release.

These grain carts won’t offer you a whole lot of shop options. You’ll only get options to choose either standard or wide wheels. But in all fairness, you don’t need to do much with a grain cart, especially these ones. Both Kinze carts look great, and are operated with no issues, making them a perfect match to tractors like New Holland T8 Genesis.

The FS22 audio update visited these models too, namely, the auger folding animations. There are also sounds of the cover closing and opening.

Demco Posi Flow

Here is the Demo Posi Glow grain cart, made for Farming Simulator 22. This great mod by Ross W. Modding includes an excellent sound library: we especially enjoyed how the weight of this trailer makes the tractors rev up during the unloading process – and the visual changes as it fills up look great as well.

The first version of this FS22 mod had some issues – but it’s all figured out already, so you’ll have no problems either. Unless the problem is “choose the color”, as this grain cart comes in red, green, and blue. In the shop, you’ll be able to choose several wheel options (like duals), and add additional extensions to increase the capacity.

Overall, this is a great smaller-size cart, that will be great for tighter budgets and smaller tractors.

J&M 680 Gravity Wagon

This is not your regular grain cart. Instead of the pretty synonymous foldable auger for grains, the crops will be poured out through the chute placed at the bottom.

In simple terms, you can’t use this grain cart to overload crops to other trailers, but instead, everything can be dumped right onto the unloading triggers.

This J&M grain cart has some good options for editing in the shop. You can change the colors of your cover, the body, as well as the rims. With multiple logo and cover options, you can customize quite a lot. There’s also a place for the warning triangle to be added.

You can use this trailer to hook trailers to one another. As long as your tractor can take it, you can pull a whole train of these at once!

Auger Wagons vs. Grain Carts – What’s The Difference?

If you browsed around grain carts in Farming Simulator 22, you probably noticed – “grain carts” are called “auger wagons”. They mean exactly the same thing.

Why the difference, then? The origin of this issue is entirely geographical. In the US and Canada, these devices are called grain carts. In Europe, they’re called auger wagons.

I also heard that some say they’re only auger wagons if they come from the Auger region in France. Otherwise, they’re just called sparkling wagons. That is probably not true, but these grain carts on this list are exactly grain carts, as they’re the ones used in Northern American farming.
