1. Reisch Pack
The Reisch Pack created by the well-known VertexDezign looks incredible. It is perhaps one of the best trailer mods ever made, with the FS22 version offering 3 different trailer models. The RT 160 offers a max capacity of 23 m3, RD 180 offers a max capacity of 19.2 m3, while the RD 240 is the biggest of them all, with the maximum capacity of 26.8 m3.
Out of all the options, the RT 160 is perhaps the best. It’s very versatile, and can be used both as an ordinary trailer, and also be transformed to transform either bale or animals. It also includes a very handy fixed drawbar, which for many will be a preferred option, compared to reversing turntable options found in RD 180 and RD 240.
One of the best features of this mod? Certainly connecting trailers one to another. Nothing like feeling like both a grain farmer and a train machinist! It’s one of those things we just love in the game.
2. LSFM Universal Tank Pack
The Universal Tank Pank, as its name might suggest, is more than just a trailer. Created by Farmer_Andy, this is an excellent all-around mod package including some excellent tools for FS22 players.
With 12 different pieces of equipment available, mostly you’ll find various size tanks for all of your liquid filling, storing, and transportation needs. There are also trucks, an ITRunner platform, and a telehandler tool for moving one of the available tank options.
But this is a trailer post – and the semi-trailer is exactly my favorite thing about this mod. It can be fully customized to transport both liquids and solids.
The LSFM Universal tank pack for FS22 is so much more than just a trailer. And it’s one of the best mods ever to hit Farming Simulator mods folders.
There are 12 different pieces of equipment in this pack. Most are tanks in various sizes that will satisfy most liquid storage and transportation needs. The collection also includes trucks, an ITRunner platform, and a unique tool for handling one of the tanks with telehandlers.
Perhaps the thing I like the most about the pack is the semi-trailer. You can customize it to transport either liquids or solids. With a capacity of up to 32,000 liters, it’s an excellent trailer, in an already excellent tank package.
3. Strautmann SZK 802
VertexDezign knows what he’s doing: this very well-made Strautmann SZK 802 might not be the biggest trailer in FS22 (not by a longshot), but instead, it packs an incredible list of features you might be interested in.
With several configurations, going from 4,000 to 12,000 liters, you can also attach one trailer to another, letting you carry massive amounts of produce. Or, by removing all walls except the one in the front, you can also carry bales and pallets with complete ease.
However, it’s a turntable trailer. Therefore, there might be some practice required when moving backwards – it’s a tricky beast to calm. But once you master that skill, moving around with Strautmann SZK 802 will be a calm, satisfying breeze.
4. Fortuna FTM200/7.5
Fortuna FTM200 was one of the community’s favorites on Farming Simulator 19’s European maps. Thanks to the talented crew in Forbidden Mods, this trailer is now available in Farming Simulator 22 as well.
This is one of the biggest trailers in the entire FS22 game. At a loading capacity of a whopping 44,500 liters, it looks great in the game, and can help for all your massive farm needs. Plus, with options for adding a license plate and various wheel options, you can customize it to suit your needs and deepest design desires.
Plus, this trailer sounds really good. Especially the wonderful “bonk” sound once it moves back to its original position. Super satisfying and entirely realistic!
The Fortuna FTM200 trailer was one of our favorites on European maps in Farming Simulator 19. Thanks to the great people over at Forbidden Mods, we can now enjoy it in FS22 too.
It’s one of the more extensive trailer mods available for FS22; it has a loading capacity of 44,500 liters. It looks both massive and impressive in the game.
The Fortuna FTM200/7.5 trailer has also gotten all the essential sound upgrades. Just wait until you hear the massive clonk! when it gets back to its original position.
5. Kröger TAW 30
This right here in the old favorite: Kröger TAW 30 has been a mainstay in both FS17 and FS19 games. It’s not in the newest release – but Bubber Drumm put in some work, and now we can use this trailer in FS22 as well!
TAW 30 has a massive capacity of 45,000 liters. But it’s not the size that makes it special – it’s the fact that this is a push-off trailer. Kröger’s body won’t raise, instead, the front wall does all the work, pushing the load right off the trailer. This is very useful when working in tight inside spaces, where raising trailers will get into a big roof-related incident.
TAW 30 is another one of the trailers with some excellent sound options. Customization for wheels and license plates is possible – sadly, there are no options to customize its color.
6. The ITRunner Pack
The ITRunner Pack on FS22 is made by Th3_Ghostrider, and includes a base ITR 26.33 HD chassis, that comes together with seven roll-on modules. The available modules are forage and grain boxes, slurry and manure spreaders, as well as two flatbeds.
While you currently can’t change the colors of any of these modules – a feature found on the ITRunner pack on the last game – it’s still an excellent option, with capacities ranging from 18,000 to 48,000 liters.
7. Strautmann SEK 802 Special
Strautmann knows how to make excellent small capacity trailer options. Thanks to Farmer_Andy’s work, this is a yet another classic release making its way to FS22. The wooden sidewalls make this trailer look unique, and dare I say, authentic. This alone right here is a feature many of the gamers will appreciate.
On the business side of things, the trailer has a capacity of 4,000 to 12,000 liters, and a max weight of 9.5 tons. It can be used to transport cereals and other similar goods, as well as be modified to carry bales and pallets, or even a full blown platform version, with fully functional tension belts (you may know them as ratchet straps).
The platform version can theoretically include walls, but to our knowledge, this is not a feature that reliably works on this mod – right now. By the time you’re reading this, it might be already fixed!
Another issue that needs looking into is the errors in the log in the platform version. The SEK802.xml file had invalid fillTypeCategory ‘SQUAREBALE’.
8. Joskin Trans-Space 8000/27TRC150
This Joskin trailer is a curious omission from the FS22 game. A base trailer on FS19, it wasn’t here when the new game launched – but thanks to Th3_Ghostrider, it’s available on FS22 as well.
And of, he’s done an excellent job, not only “not ruining”, but seriously improving on the FS19 model. It looks better than ever, and the sound on this trailer is seriously good. Cables and hoses work just about flawlessly. With a capacity of 27,400 liters, it’s a pretty big trailer – and it’s a tipping trailer, too. 9. Fliegl ASW 271 (Bigger Version)
FS22 game includes the Fliegl ASW 271 right from the start. However, Flotschow did one simple upgrade that made this already good trailer even better – added wooden boards right on the sides of the trailer. While that doesn’t increase the allowed 12.5 ton total weight (and why would it?), this gives you nearly an additional 5,000 liters of capacity, going right up to 34,500 liters.
These are not the only changes made to this trailer by the modder. There are now more marker lights on both the sides and rear of the Fliegl. It’s a solid mod with no errors that works exactly as it should. Excellent job all around.
10. Fortuna K270
Do you think that Fortuna K270 is not the best looking trailer? You might even call it “pretty”? We agree – but it’s a shining example of why you never judge a book by its cover. Fortuna has a solid capacity of 30,000 liters, and has 4 different tipping options: the rear door, the grain door, and sides on both left and right. You can also lock its drawbar. As it’s a turntable trailer, doing so will make reversing a lot more simple.
The mod itself is also incredibly done. The audio is excellent, dynamic hoses make it look incredibly realistic and you also have a lot of excellent editing options. This includes the wheels from Michelin, Continental, Trelleborg, Vredestein, and BKT. You can also change your license plates, and repaint your cover in custom colors.
