Vehicle Leasing V1.0.0.0 FS25
Vehicle Leasing V1.0.0.0 FS25
With Vehicle Leasing, you can flexibly finance vehicles and machinery in Farming Simulator 25 without having to pay the full purchase price upfront.
How Leasing Works
When leasing a vehicle, you define the terms step-by-step:
1. Select a down payment
2. Set the lease term
3. Determine the residual value
4. You will then receive a complete summary showing:
Vehicle price
Down payment
Monthly installment
Interest
Total costs
Final payment
You can then confirm the lease agreement with “Yes” and acquire the vehicle.
Flexible Lease Term
You can choose a lease term between 6 and 36 months. Any whole number of months within this range is possible.
A term of 12 months is suggested by default.
Interest
The default interest rate is 4% per year, calculated based on the actual amount financed.
Financed amount = Vehicle price − Down payment
The interest rate can be adjusted directly in the script via the `INTEREST` setting.
Early Payoff
You do not have to wait until the end of the term. If you have sufficient funds during the lease period, you can pay off the contract in full ahead of schedule.
This saves you from paying interest that would have accrued over the remaining time.
Residual Value & Final Payment
When finalizing the lease agreement, you can set a residual value between 0% and 50% of the vehicle price.
A higher residual value means:
lower monthly installments
but a higher final payment at the end
The final payment is due at the end of the lease term.
If the final payment cannot be made, the vehicle is repossessed.
Lease Overview
You can easily view and manage all active lease agreements at any time. You can find the leasing overview here:
Statistics → Vehicles → Leasing Overview
Alternatively, you can open the overview directly in-game by pressing Ctrl + K.
There, for each lease agreement, you can see details such as:
Vehicle
Monthly installment
Current outstanding balance
Remaining months
Next payment
This allows you to keep track of your active financing arrangements at all times.
Payment Warning
You will receive a warning shortly before the next lease installment is due.
A notification appears during the two days prior to the next payment if your account lacks sufficient funds to cover the installment.
This ensures you are notified in time to make the necessary arrangements for the payment to go through.
Note: The day count is based on the internal day logic of LS25. If the in-game warning does not appear correctly, this can be adjusted accordingly.
